Car park opens: 4.45pm

Gates open: 5pm

Performance start time: From 7pm

Performance finish time: 10.20pm

IS FOOD AND DRINK AVAILABLE?

Yes, we have a fully licensed bar available on site, plus a selection of hot food and coffee vendors.
It’s important to note that bar and food outlets do not accept card payments and there are no cashpoints at the venue.

CAN I BRING MY OWN FOOD AND DRINK?

Yes, please feel free to bring your own picnic and soft drinks along to the concert. Unlike other venues, we allow you to bring your own picnic in to the arena. We do however have some restrictions on items permitted on site. Please see our Terms & Conditions page and Prohibited Items information page for full details.

Glass bottles and metal cutlery are not allowed on the premises. All drink containers must be sealed and in their original state to be allowed in to the venue.

In order to allow this BYO policy and also meet our environmental policy targets, we do ask all patrons to take home and recycle all items brought onto the site.

Sadly no alcohol can be brought onto the site. We do have a licensed bar, set as reasonable prices, for our customers. SIA led searches will take place on all gates

WHERE CAN I PARK?

We have a number of blue badge car parking spaces at Blaise Castle right next to the arena. These must be pre-booked with tickets available for sale from January. If you’d like to request a space to be reserved then email info@starlightconcerts.co.uk. This is done on a strictly first come, first served basis. There will be other car parks within walking distance or with a shuttle bus serving the venue, in addition to public transport. More information, including reserving of spaces will be released from January 2020. This venue is well served by public transport. 

AGE RESTRICTONS

All children aged 15 years and under require a Child ticket in order to attend.

Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over at all times. A maximum of 3 children to 1 adult ratio allowed.

Age restrictions apply. Proof of age/ID may be required. The Challenge 25 policy is in place and anyone believed to be underage will be asked to provide identification of proof of age.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?

Dress for the outdoors – bring something warm for later in the evening and a waterproof jacket. Umbrellas are permitted at our venues, but we ask that you consider others when using them. Pop up tents and gazebos are not permitted in the arena. Consider bringing a torch if you are planning to walk home.
 Insect repellent may be useful.

SEATING

No seats are provided at the venue, so please bring along a chair or picnic blanket for your comfort.

DOGS

With the exception of assistance dogs, no animals of any kind are allowed into the concert site. Please do not leave pets in your car.

CASH

Please bring cash if you would like to buy food, drinks or merchandise from our vendors – sadly we are not able to accept credit or debit cards.

SMOKING & VAPING

Smoking and vaping is only permitted within the designated areas to the rear and sides of the arena. Please be mindful of your fellow patrons and any possible fire risks when smoking in these areas.

PHOTOGRAPHY

Feel free to get your phone out and take a snap. Please do share on social media, too. However, professional photography is prohibited. Tripods and audio visual or video recording equipment are not permitted in the arena. The music and performance are licensed and PRS compliant.

WILL THE CONCERT GO AHEAD IF IT’S RAINING?

Concerts will go ahead regardless of weather, except in circumstances where the conditions at the venue are deemed unsafe for the public and artistes. We advise that you wear suitable clothing and footwear for an outdoor event and bring an umbrella. In extreme circumstances, the concert may be delayed or shortened due to the poor weather conditions. Please note that in these circumstances we are unable to offer a refund.

CANCELLATION

Concerts will only be cancelled in extreme circumstances. Otherwise, every effort is made to proceed with the event. Any updates will be published on the website and via Facebook and Twitter. We will also use local media including BBC Radio and newspapers. In the event the concert is cancelled and no act has appeared, a refund may be given.

PROHIBITED ITEMS

You may be subjected to body and/or bag searches at the entrances. Persons suspected of carrying items that may be used in an offensive or dangerous manner, or carrying out illegal activities onsite, may be asked to leave.

You are NOT permitted to enter with the following:

  • Animals (other than assistance dogs)
  • Any goods for unauthorised trading
  • Any items which may cause danger, offence or disruption to any other person
  • Any items which may reasonably be considered for use as a weapon

  • Disposable barbeques
  • Drones
  • Excessive amounts of cigarettes (more than personal consumption)
  • Fireworks/pyrotechnics
  • Fishing umbrellas

  • Flares/distress flares
  • Gazebos
  • Illegal substances
  • Legal highs
  • New psychoactive substances (NPS)
  • Nitrus oxide and any associated equipment (balloons, Co2 dispensers, cream dispensers)
  • Oversized lighters
  • Paper lanterns
  • Petrol burners
  • Portable laser equipment and pens
  • Sound systems
  • Spray cans
  • Unidentifiable substances
  • Unofficial tabards or reflective jackets
  • Any types of camping stoves or cooking equipment


Our security team are stationed around the arena. You will be asked to take any prohibited item(s) back to your car or allow for disposal.
